A rainy Halloween! THE HORROR! Fun activities with ARM & HAMMER Baking Soda

HappyHalloweenSo is it raining tonight in your neck of the woods, too? We’re going to hit the streets early, getting as much trick-or-treating in before it starts to pour. To amuse the kids, try hiding candy around the house for the kids to find… like a Halloween version of an Easter egg hunt. Here are a few jokes you can tell ’em, too…

  • Why couldn’t the ghost see its mom and dad? Because they were trans-parents!
  • What is a vampires favorite holiday? Fangsgiving.
  • What do you call a witch in the desert? A sandwitch.
  • Why do ghosts like to ride in elevators? It raises their spirits.
  • What do you get when you drop a pumpkin? Squash.
  • Why do mummies have trouble making friends? They’re too wrapped up in themselves.
  • What do birds give out on Halloween? Tweets.
  • What’s it like to be kissed by a vampire? It’s a pain in the neck.

But you know all that will only entertain them for about 30 seconds, right? 😉 You have to get more CREATIVE! Go grab some items you already own, add some ARM & HAMMER Baking Soda and POOF! Your kids will be impressed by your wizardry!

Aren’t those ideas so clever?! My girls are about to make Witches’ Brew… just pour 3 teaspoons of ARM & HAMMER™ Baking Soda, a ¼ cup of vinegar and a few drops of green food coloring into a bowl (or Halloween cauldron, if you have one), then watch as it bubbles and churns. (Just don’t drink it, yuck!) I’ll share a photo when we’re done.

  202. Baking Soda! It is so versatile…I use it all the time. I use it for baking, cleaning, laundry, deodorizing, science experiments, toothpaste…you name it!

  203. I love their baking soda. There’s always a box in the fridge, keeping it odor free. I also put some in a little jar in the bottom of all our trash cans to keep them odor free, as well. Really helps with bathroom trash and poopie diaper trash!
