Maura was in the middle of watching Daniel Tiger’s “Neighbor Day” episode when our neighbor and good friend called to see if the girls wanted to go over to her house to make a “welcome home” poster for another neighborhood family that’s coming back from a big trip. Talk about perfect timing!
So the girls made the sign and taped it up on our neighbor’s front door just in time. They were so proud and excited! And their friends were happy as can be to know that they have friends that love them so!

In this full half-hour special episode of Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, premiering Monday, September 2 at 10am, Daniel learns how good it feels to be neighborly – and that one kind act can lead to many more. His first good deed starts a chain reaction of kindness all around the Neighborhood, culminating with the declaration of “Neighbor Day”!
