Prepping for the holidays with appliances from Best Buy

Imagine boiling water in less than 2 minutes… or baking two dishes at two different temperatures at the same time. Wouldn’t that be a dream? Okay, for me it is. Especially around the holidays, which is a hectic time for everyone… not only when it comes to buying gifts, but also for cooking and entertaining.

If you have a passion for cooking, like I do, an amazing new range would truly be a dream! The latest appliance technology allows you to get the food the way you want it prepared and saves you time so you can spend it with the ones you love.

The reviewer has been compensated in the form of a Best Buy Gift Card
and/or received the product/service at a reduced price or for free.

Range

Take the Frigidaire FGIF3061NF plus induction, for instance. It reduces clean up time because – since induction cooktops don’t get hot – anything that spills over won’t burn on and create a big mess. You can simply wipe it clean. You can also boil water faster than traditional cooktops, so you’ll spend less time on food preparation. This Frigidaire range includes a convection oven which circulates the air evenly around your food, for a quicker baking time. Not only will you save time, but your baking will be more consistent… a pan of chocolate chip cookies on the top rack will bake just as evenly as the ones on the bottom. I imagine another benefit is that the kitchen must stay cooler, too!

Another awesome option is a double oven, which lets you cook two dishes at two different temperatures at once. The Whirlpool WGG555S0BS is a beautiful one that still fits within the space of a standard range. With a double oven, you can keep part of your meal warm while your entrée finishes cooking, or cook in one oven while cleaning the other. You can deliver hot food to the table all at once, which makes holiday meals a snap, even when you’re cooking for a crowd!

Range

Right now Best Buy is having a ‘Prep for the Holidays’ appliance event where you can save up to 25% on major appliances. Add on free haul away and recycling on purchases of $399 or more, and this is the perfect time to buy a new range! Learn more at bestbuy.com/holidayprep.

It is really amazing how a good and well-working appliance goes a long way in holiday preparations. I still remember the Thanksgiving in which our SUPER old oven decided it was done. We made a train down to the neighbor’s house with everything that absolutely had to be cooked and ended up eating a lot of cold salads that year. – Katy
