  16. It is really amazing how a good and well-working appliance goes a long way in holiday preparations. I still remember the Thanksgiving in which our SUPER old oven decided it was done. We made a train down to the neighbor’s house with everything that absolutely had to be cooked and ended up eating a lot of cold salads that year. – Katy
