Still played with after 8 weeks!

So it’s hard to believe, but it’s been almost 8 weeks since that little conference I went to back in July! Out of all the swag I brought home, the toys below have gotten the most use, as you can see.

Toy swag from BlogHer '09

Build-A-Bear

The bear I received is from the Love. Hugs. Peace. line, and wears a t-shirt similar to this one, pictured on the right. I love what it says on the back, so I had to show that, too! Build-A-Bear is always so much fun and is a perfect gift idea anytime of the year.

Moxie Girls

If your daughter wanted a Bratz doll in the past, and you weren’t keen on those, then take a look at the new Moxie Girlz dolls. They have a more toned-down look and will be a huge hit this holiday season, I’m sure! I love their motto – “Be true! Be you! – that encourages girls to be themselves, no matter what anyone thinks. Sasha, the doll we have, is said to be “friendly, positive, and clever” and sees the bright side of every situation.

Playskool Wheel Pals

We got two of these cute Wheel Pals. Anything with wheels is a crowd-pleaser at our house, so these have been played with quite a bit. It’s nice to see a car-type toy for girls! Wheel Pals are the perfect size for little hands – not too big – yet not so small that they get lost easily under furniture or outside in the grass. These little guys work well as back massagers, by the way! I learned that totally by accident, I promise! 😉

Play-Doh

Play-Doh is always a hit! I love the mini-containers, especially. I always have one in my purse, ready to pull out in case my girls get antsy in a restaurant or Dr’s office. They’re also wonderful party favors and stocking stuffers.

Strawberry Shortcake mini soft dolls

Have you seen Strawberry Shortcake’s new look? I actually like her makeover quite a bit. She now has long, beautiful hair. These 6-inch dolls are adorable! Soft, huggable, and scented, of course! We also got her friend, Lemon Meringue, so all we’re missing to complete the set is Orange Blossom.

Strawberry Shortcake mini doll with DVD

This miniature 3-inch scented doll comes with Custard the cat and tiny accessories, as well as a DVD featuring one of Strawberry Shortcake’s fun adventures. The 11-minute DVD has been watched countless times (the full-length Strawberry Shortcake movie comes out today, by the way!) and Maya takes the doll everywhere, since it can fit in her pocket.

Mr. Potato Head

What can I say? This toy is a classic. It’s fun for both my toddler and preschooler. We sometimes use the pieces when we’re playing with Play-Doh to create mini-Potato Heads. I love how all the parts fit inside the spud so nothing is lost!

lthough I did receive these products free of charge, I wasn’t asked to review them.
