Cardstore – removing the hassle from mailing out holiday cards

November 26, 2013 by Mariana

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed or Email Updates. Thanks for visiting!

I participated in an Ambassador Program on behalf of Mom Central Consulting (#MC) for Cardstore. I received complimentary cards and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.

Every year, usually around mid-November, I have the full intention of ordering holiday cards. I do. We take the photos, I pick out the cards, but life gets crazy and I never get around to ordering them. Often this is because I’m waiting for the perfect deal, or because this task ends up at the bottom of my to-do list. Or I do order them and they sit on my coffee table for weeks, never mailed, because I didn’t have enough stamps and we all know the post office is the worst place to be at this time of year! Last year I didn’t give up, and ended up sending out ‘New Year’s’ cards which basically made it painfully obvious to people that I totally procrastinated on sending them out. There’s just SO much to do! Cooking, cleaning the house, holiday shopping, decorating… I envy those people that are able to get their cards in the mail the weekend after Thanksgiving! How do they find the time?

Cardstore, an innovative online resource, removes the hassle from mailing out holiday cards. Once you create your custom cards with personalized pictures, messages, and signature, Cardstore will print, stamp and send the cards for you – helping to take one huge item off your already full holiday to-do list. How awesome is that? And it doesn’t end at holiday cards… whether sending out birthday cards, thank you notes, or just touching base with out of town friends, Cardstore proves an easy solution for any occasion.

Cardstore

I took the site for a test drive, creating a sample Christmas card with my daughters’ picture. You can choose from flat or folded cards, search by a color scheme and/or recipient, and even pick the style you’re going for. Casual, vintage, etc. And while we love seeing photos of everyone’s adorable kids, who says there has to be a photo on your card? Cardstore has tons of options with no photos.

The hardest part of the process, honestly, is choosing the card! After you’ve picked the perfect one, you can add your photo, personalize the text, preview it, and approve it, all in minutes. Then you can have the cards shipped to you, or mailed directly to the recipient, with postage applied. I think it’s so cool that you can import your address book and save it, so you’ll have them in there for next year! The best feature, though, is scheduling – you can pick your cards out months ahead and set a date for having them mailed out.

Visit Cardstore at po.st/PersonalizeYourCard and personalize your own holiday card today! Cardstore offering 30% off holiday cards through November 26th, and be sure to visit the site after Thanksgiving, as there’s a 50% off Black Friday sale through December 1st.

Have you ordered your holiday cards yet?

I have not ordered my Christmas cards yet. The CardStore sounds convenient during this busy time of year. I am guilty of procrastination as well. Last year my family got New Year cards instead of Christmas cards, thought was still there hahaha. Checking Cardstore out now.
