It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas everywhere I go! I wish one of those places could be the Christmas Town celebration at Busch Gardens! I was invited to Media Night tonight, but Williamsburg is not exactly around the corner, so I had to decline the invitation. 🙁
Music and cheer fill the air this holiday season at Christmas Town: A Busch Gardens Celebration. Live carolers and musicians perform throughout the park and brand new live shows come to life in the streets and theatres in ways never before seen at Busch Gardens. In the Abbey Stone Theatre, come see an emotional Christmas concert told through moving imagery, choral harmonies and a full live orchestra. Guests can explore an ice-themed world with dazzling lights and snow. Take part in a traditional German Christmas celebration in Das Festhaus with a live musical show or view the park’s iconic 45-foot Christmas tree light show. And don’t forget to visit Santa at his workshop in the North Pole.
Doesn’t that sound fun? If you live nearby, it looks like something worth checking out! Christmas Town opens at Busch Gardens on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 3 – 10 p.m. The park will open each evening Dec. 18 – 27, excluding Christmas Day. Some sections of the park will remain closed for the season, and some rides and attractions are weather dependent. Admission tickets are available for $19.95. Guests with active Busch Gardens passes save 50 percent on Christmas Town tickets as well as free parking and in-park discounts. For more details, visit the new Christmas Town website at www.christmastown.com.
For live look at Christmas Town, visit the web cam. It shows the heart of the park — Das Festhaus, the 45-foot Christmas Tree light show, and all of the crowds in Mistletoe Marketplace.

That is a beautiful picture, wished we lived closer to the city to see the holiday decoration. When I was younger and living in Chicago, we used to drive downtown and look at the decorations on the store fronts, I looked forward to every year.
