Knowing well what her answer would be, I asked my 5-year-old yesterday what Disney princess she’d love to have dinner with. Her answer? “Cinderella, of course! That’s my dream, mom!” And the toddler chimed in, “Me, too!” as she does after almost everything her big sis says.
Little do they know that 5 weeks from tonight – on Friday, February 12th – they’ll do just that. I made a reservation for Cinderella’s Happily Ever After Dinner, where hopefully my daughters will get to meet Cinderella, Prince Charming and other characters from the Disney movie in real life.
This means we’re headed to Walt Disney World!!
I’ve known for about a month now, but hesitated to mention it publicly until all the final arrangements were made. We’ll be staying at Disney’s Polynesian Resort for three days for the Social Media Moms Celebration, and get this – it’s only costing me $350 for the conference, hotel, and park tickets for my whole family. An amazing deal that I couldn’t pass up. That and the fact that I’ll be meeting up with some fabulous bloggers!
Registration has opened up to more bloggers, and as of today, there are still a few slots open! If you’re a blogger, and this sounds like something that would interest you, visit 5 Minutes for Mom, one of the hosts of the conference, for more details. You can also leave a comment here and I’ll put you in touch with the right person.
And if you are a company that’s interested in sponsoring me by subsidizing some of my expenses, I’d love to chat! Please contact me by email or leave a comment below.
Have faith in your dreams and someday your rainbow will come smiling thru!

I am so excited for your girls…and so jealous of everyone who is going. If we had known further in advance we for sure would be there. But we’d already budgeted a few big home repair jobs over Jan/Feb. It’s such a great deal….and we could drive too!! Oh well. I haven’t been to Disney World since 1993. I guess I can wait a little longer 😉
