Fischer & Wieser sauces [review]

Do you love mangoes, ginger, chili peppers, and raspberries as much as I do? Each on their own, these are some of my favorite foods and flavors. The Mango Ginger Habanero Sauce and Roasted Raspberry Chipotle Sauce recipes by Fischer & Wieser are full of natural ingredients and attractively packaged but, unfortunately, they fell short of my expectations.

I experimented with the Mango Ginger Habanero Sauce as a dipping sauce for some egg rolls. It was sweet to a fault causing my toes to curl.

The Roasted Raspberry Chipotle was less sweet, but the smokey chipotle flavor overpowered the bright raspberry flavor and lost me. As suggested on the bottle’s label, I whisked in some olive oil and balsamic vinegar with the sauce to make a quick salad dressing. The oil and vinegar subdued the intense chiplotle flavor and I tossed a hearty taco dinner salad with the dressing (see photo below). Somewhat satisfying but not a winning combination that my family has requested again.

Disclosure: I was provided with samples of the sauces to facilitate my review.

One of the things you can do with the Roasted Raspberry Chipotle is add it to the top of Brie with green chilies – you’ll be amazed at this combination. Enjoyed your review – not familiar with this brand

This sauce actually looks so tasty! I need to try it. Keep those reviews coming! Do you have any new movie reviews?
