We just hosted an informal Littlest Pet Shop party at our house over the weekend and invited my niece and a couple of Maya and Maura’s friends to hang out and play. And that’s just what they did!
Ranging in age from 7 to 10 years old, the girls played with the newest style sets, which are really cool! With these new sets, Littlest Pet Shop is empowering kids to “Be who they wanna be!” with a new way to play that offers the freedom to design their own pet shop world, their way…
You can create your own Downtown City with customizable style sets and figures inspired by the “Littlest Pet Shop” animated series. The all-new style sets featuring Blythe Baxter, the best pet sitter in Downtown City. We have the Littlest Pet Shop style set and the Blythe Bedroom style set.
Collect and stack the style sets vertically or horizontally to create a unique ‘city skyline,’ then decorate and style the sets with Deco Bits — unique, small accessories that plug into the environments for a little added glamour. The next set on their wish list is the ‘Let’s Start the Show!’ style set with the stage and runway!
What I liked is that there are lots of stickers and tons of decorative pieces to make each room your own! Maura especially loved the stickers and Deco Bits… she spent what seemed like hours getting everything just right before her friends came over. Maya is more about pretend play, making the pets talk to each other and such. It’s really neat to see how they play so differently! The Littlest Pet Shop brand encourages them to use their creativity and create a world of their own.
We had some snacks… I made ‘pet food’ labels and put them on different colored dishes. ‘Puppy Chow’ was cereal, ‘Elephant Food’ was peanuts, ‘Cat Fish’, chocolate fish-shaped crackers, and ‘Monkey Munch’ was kettle corn.
We watched a movie… have your kids ever watched the Littlest Pet Shop animated show on the Discovery Family Channel (formerly the Hub Network)? It’s so cute and ties in perfectly with the toys!
And everyone took home a new pet! Can you believe there are 100+ new Littlest Pet Shop pets that you can collect and customize? Straight from the animated series. The ‘Love in Paris’ pet pair with Zoe and Philippe is so cute… definitely what Maya reached for. Maura prefers the little kitties.
Not only can children play with their Littlest Pets’ at home and watch their favorite pets on The Littlest Pet Shop animated TV show from Hasbro, but they can also bring their pets to life with the Littlest Pet Shop app! I used to love Littlest Pet Shop as a kid. I have all boys so we do not get to play with it now but they have a lot of great products.

I would have to say that I had a few favorite toys when I was young but my favorite was most likely some of my dolls and my toy horses.
My daughter loved Littlest Pet Shop when she was younger! We probably still have a bunch in her closet!

Those Style Sets are seriously fun! I usually end up playing with my girls & before I know it, it’s about 45 min. later. Maybe they’ll just happen to collect the remaining sets for Christmas. 😉
