Product review: Girl In A Dress teesIsn’t this tee just the cutest?! It’s made by a company called Girl In A Dress. Based in New York, this is not just another mom-owned business. It’s run by a mother/daughter team.

Taylor (the daughter) draws all the designs for the t-shirts. She’s nine years old and has been drawing since she could hold a crayon! Gina (the mom) does everything else.

Girl In A Dress tees range in size from 3 thru 14, and retail for $24. The tees are 100% cotton (so soft!) with cap sleeves. It’s hard to see from the photos, but there are subtle rhinestone embellishments in just the right places. You can find them on their website, www.girlinadress.com.

The site just launched last month, and shipping is free for a limited time!

Product review: Girl In A Dress teesMaya loved her Girl In A Tiara tee from the moment she took the ribbon off the package. And as you can see, I also have a little fashionista. She insisted on wearing the bow as a belt.

When I told her that a little girl just like her created the design on the tee, she was in awe! Not only did she wear the shirt for the rest of the day, but she also spent hours that afternoon drawing.

She said: “Mommy, maybe if I practice a lot I can draw pretty pictures when I’m 9, too… how many months til I’m going to be 9?” Oh, the things kids say!

Taylor, if you’re reading this, you’ve inspired my 4-year-old and I thank you for that!

If Taylor’s got such a passion for art and design at this young age, I’d love to see what she’ll be doing 10 years from now! I can tell you that coming up next in the Girl In A Dress line are dresses. I can just imagine how delightful they’ll be!

  52. Those are absolutely adorable. The artwork reminds me of the pictures my granddaughter draws for me. My Julia does love dresses, but I know if she had one of these tees, she would not take it off!
    Honestly, I like all the shirts equally, but would name “Girl in a Beret” as my favorite because she is a brunette, like my granddaughter.
