Making it was really incredibly simple. Inspired by these gold butterflies on the bathroom wall, I found an old mirror with stained glass butterflies on it, and decided on a good spot on the wall.
I found a piece of ribbon about 4 or 5 feet long, cut it in half, and knotted each piece together at the ends.
Then I hung these on the thumb tacks that I already had put on the wall.
I opened up a box of Kleenex Hand Towels, removed the plastic wrapping, and hung it inside the ribbon.

The mirror hides the ugly thumb tacks… and, ta-dah!
While I’m not a huge fan of using disposable products all the time, in this case, I think it really works because my mom always has company coming in and out. Changing the hand towel often isn’t practical, but with Kleenex Hand Towels, she has nothing to worry about. I was surprised at how affordable the product is. Once this box is empty, she can easily replace it for under $3. There are even a few different color boxes to choose from, in case she wants a different look.
