He’s Just Not That Into You

hjntiy_coverDid you know this movie was #1 at the box office this past weekend? Hubby’s not really into chick flicks, but we’re having a ‘date night’ tomorrow night, so I might just convince him into going to see it. Written by former Sex and the City writers Greg Behrendt and Liz Tucillo, He’s Just Not That Into You is a romantic comedy about modern day relationships and how men and women so often misconstrue the intentions of the opposite sex. It features an all-star cast that includes Ben Affleck, Drew Barrymore, Scarlett Johansson, and Jennifer Aniston, just to name a few.

He’s Just Not That Into You: The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack was also released last week. Featuring classics from The Cure and The Black Crowes, great tunes from Maroon 5, Keane, R.E.M., Corinne Bailey Rae and Lily Allen, it’s a wonderful compilation that draws you in and gets you singing along! My favorite songs are “Madly,” by Tristan Prettyman, “Fruit Machine,” by The Ting Tings, and “Love, Save The Empty,” by amazing new artist Erin McCarley.

  59. I have really wanted to see this movie, but my husband thinks it’s going to be a cheesy woman movie. I love the CD though. I don’t have just one favorite, I love The Cure, The Black Crowes and Maroon 5. The have a good combination of old and new artists.
