  3. I am one of the lucky ones to stay home, the rest of the family travel here. They all get her just before Christmas Eve. We dig out the ole feather beds, cots, sofa beds and prepare for Christmas Eve day, we celebrate on Christmas all day, big buffet, and exchange gifts, everyone leaves late that night except the long distance travelers.

  7. We are traveling for the holidays, but we are splitting up the travel. First we are going to Havasu City to visit my mom, aunts, uncles, cousins, and my nieces. We will stay home for Christmas, but then we are off again on the day after Christmas, because we are celebrating my son’s birthday at Disneyland on the 27th. We are going to drive to California from AZ on the 26th, get a hotel, and then hit Disneyland on the 27th. Can’t wait!. Thanks for the giveaway.

  8. I’m driving first to Lousiana and then to Houston (1600 miles each way)for Christmas with a cocker spaniel riding shotgun.

  11. I am really hoping that me and my two kids can get to NY for the last week of year. We’ll take the train and from Charlotte we’re talking 13 or more hours. We’ll sleep, read, eat, watch videos, play cards, talk to strangers and sightsee and it will be worth every minute of it.

  32. I get to stay home on Christmas day. I will, however, be driving 2.5 hours up north the day after to spend time with my extended family.

  37. I *guess* we are lucky to be staying home. By staying home I mean in town though. We have three straight days of family get togethers. Sometimes I wish we did have to travel!

    Will be staying home with family. Spent last Christmas in Glasgow, Scotland with my last living Aunt. My kids are apread around from Morrisville, PA to Davis, CA but our big get together is New Years then we all gather out at the lake and enjoy.

  90. We are not only lucky, but blessed. We are staying home because my husband has to work. We know how fortunate we are that he has a good job right now so no complaining here. Our family is 12 hours away so we’ll just send the presents.

  95. “Over the river and through the woods…” Grandma’s lasagna and lots of family around are key to a happy holiday, so we are traveling.

  101. Staying home on Christmas day. I like the kids to wake up at their own house on Christmas morning if possible. Traveling to NEPA the weekend before and about an hour away the day after Christmas. Traveling can be tough with 3 kids and one with special needs. Those Chocolates would go to good use.

  102. Well, I’ll most likely be working on Christmas Eve, followed on Christmas Day by a visit to two families over 50 miles apart from one another. Also, we’re hoping to travel to Disney coming up next year sometime for our Honeymoon. 😀

I LOVE to travel and would love to be on an adventure for the holidays. I would love to experience another countries holidays. I think it would be great fun!

  113. I’m traveling for Christmas shopping but Christmas day will be spent at home. A lot of our relatives ask us to go there for Christmas but there’s nothing like waking up at home and unwrapping presents in your PJ’s 🙂

  138. Traveling 3 1/2 hours to my in-laws, ten back home for a day then 40 miles to my sisters. Long trips, but deffinately worth it!

  217. We like to stay close to home for the holidays- we do spend Christmas eve morning up at Ken’s mom’s house (half a block away) and then it’s home for us. We do drive around looking at the lights but that’s as far as we go.

  234. This year I get to stay home — which is a rare thing! I live in Oregon and my family is in Maine, my husband’s in Maryland. As a result, we end up traveling on both holidays most years.
