It’s NERF or Nothin’!

April 20, 2010 by Mariana

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed or Email Updates. Thanks for visiting!

This isn’t a toy I’d usually feature here, because my kids are too young to play with it, but I thought some of you might enjoy it. You’re not tired of the giveaways are you? Because I’m just getting started! 😉

Once in a while my kids will find a foam dart on the ground when we’re out walking around the neighborhood. The bright colors catch their eye in the grass. They may not know what this strange object is, but I know… it means there’s a lean, mean Nerf fighting machine somewhere out there!

Now your kid can be one, too! Leave a comment on this post to be entered to win a Nerf Dart Tag Hyperfire Blaster one-player set, which includes one Hyperfire blaster, 10 Dart Tag darts, one scoring vest and one set of Vision Gear goggles.

For ages 8 and up, this cool blaster features 10-dart auto-advance capabilities for maximum speed – and scoring! – with darts that stick to the Dart Tag scoring vest! Remind your kids to be safe when playing with these types of toys – to NOT aim at the eyes or face and always wear the Vision Gear provided. If your child needs an extra pair of Vision Gear eyewear, it is being sold separately for the first time – in three unique colors – so look out for that!

BUY IT!
The Nerf Dart Tag Hyperfire Blaster set is sold exclusively at Toys “R” Us, Amazon.com, and HasbroToyShop.com, and has an ARV of $24.99.

WIN IT!
The Nerf brand has been around for over 40 years now, can you believe it? To enter to win this fun set, please tell me about your fondest Nerf memory.

For extra entries:

  • Subscribe to my feed by feed reader or email (or let me know if you already do).
  • Follow me on Twitter (@OhMariana) and tweet about this giveaway (one time): Giveaway! Win a Nerf Dart Tag Hyperfire Blaster – https://tinyurl.com/y6t4cte #RWNH (pls RT)
  • Link to me in your sidebar or blog roll. Feel free to grab my button (at the bottom of the page).

Contest ends May 4th, 2010 11:59 pm EST. US entries only, one person per household. Leave a separate comment per entry & a valid email address. Winner, chosen at random, has 3 days to claim their prize.

My fondest memory with a Nerf toy was when my son was about 5. He was playing in his grandparents’ yard with his Nerf football and his lovable dog, Brownie. My son came into the house crying because he had put his toy football helmet on the dog’s head and it was stuck! It took a while for his Dad to get it off. Brownie then snatched the Nerf football, ran to the corner of the yard, and began to dig a hole to bury it. Hubby came to the rescue again. My boy and his beautiful dog had lots of fun together.

My fondest memory of Nerf is when my oldest children were smaller.
My son was three and my daughter two. I bought a nerf gun with a belt that held foam missles for my son but my daughter cried cause she wanted it to. So being the good boy that he was he kept the gun but gave her the belt which she wore around her waist all day long. She was thrilled and he was just as happy to pretend that he had missles.
Thank you so much for the chance to win.

Before my younger brother died we would have all out WARS! He would build a fort out of couch cushions and I would hide under the kitchen table with two chairs in front for walls. (Our kitchen was next to the living room) If one of us received a head shot we would instantly become super dramatic and give a whole dying scene. Those were the best times of my life. I hope to give this (if I win) to my little cousin as a gift for starting middle school.
