Jawbone UP2 activity tracker  The reviewer has been compensated in the form of a Best Buy Gift Card
and/or received the product/service at a reduced price or for free.

Jawbone has just introduced two new activity trackers, the UP2 and UP3. They are the thinnest, sleekest, style-savvy trackers out there! Not only do they look stylish, but they also feature innovative technology that provides you with a more comprehensive picture of your lifestyle habits.

For example, a cool feature of UP activity trackers is the Smart Coach, an intelligent guide within the UP app that makes your raw data meaningful, helping you understand how your diet, your activity level, and sleep patterns work together. It turns this information into a personal fitness coach that will give you personalized tips and helpful reminders to get you on the right path to making better choices and reaching your goals.

UP fitness trackers are also compatible with hundreds of 3rd party apps and devices, like RunKeeper, MyFitnessPal, and the Withings scale, giving you access to functionality that’s important to you.

What’s the difference between UP2 and UP3?

UP2 has a beautiful design. It offers basic activity tracking, sleep tracking, food logging and Smart Coach. It’s a little smaller than the UP3, and more affordable, but they both have the same 7-day battery life.

UP3 lets you track more you so know more. You get advanced activity tracking, advanced sleep tracking, food logging, Smart Coach and Heart Health. Multi-sensor technology adds accuracy to Smart Coach, and advanced sensors track your true sleep stages—REM, Light, and Deep. How cool is that?! Smart Coach then suggests ways to maximize and improve the quality of your sleep. It also has advanced bioimpedance sensors, as you can see in the photo below, that automatically track your resting heart rate.

I had the last Up model and I loved it.

Those are really nice. I like the silver one, it looks like a piece of jewelry instead of a fitness tracker!

I love the look of these. Very small, and not so in your face. I think they look really neat and I would love to get one!

I think it’s awesome that both have a 7 day battery life. I would probably go with the UP2 since it’s more affordable but I love the design of both trackers.
