A “reel” date night: McCormick & Schmick’s

Ohhhh my goodness, I can’t even remember the last time I went to the movies with my husband. It’s been that long. When it was just the two of us we would do dinner and a movie several times a week. But that was when the economy was booming! 🙂

This summer, one of the most popular seafood restaurants in the U.S. is doing something about that little dilemma that so many of us are dealing with.

McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurants are helping to revive date night with a special offer: through September, or while supplies last, purchase any dinner entrée and receive an unrestricted movie ticket for only $5.00. If you’ve been to the movies lately, you know that $5.00 is a steal for a movie ticket these days! So splurge on delicious crab cakes or lobster, but don’t waste your butter on popcorn.

Not only that, but anyone can enter to win a trip to the 2010 Sundance Film Festival just by entering the McCormick & Schmick’s Reel to Reel Sweepstakes, which will roll out the red carpet at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival. The grand prize includes airfare and hotel for two to Park City, Utah, and VIP passes to party with the stars at Sundance!

  122. Theres a McCormick and Schmicks about a half mile from my house, I pass it every time I got to my local movie theater. How ironic. Of course, like you, we’ve cut way back on doing that, so we only go about 1-2 times per month now. More than alot of people, but far less than we used to.
