The new and improved Moon Dough was a hit at my house. The new formulation promises to be less crumbly and not dry out. This is exactly what it delivers.
The breakfast set was fun for both my girls, ages four and 10, who love pancakes and ask for them almost every morning. Making Moon Dough pancakes kept their interest for a good amount of time (to say the least – because it does not dry out, the girls convinced us to leave it out on our table for a few days as they played with it over and over).
The breakfast set includes 2 colors of Moon Dough – yellow and pink – and also 3 hand sized Push N’ Pop cutters, a mat with images of a plate, silverware, and a table cloth. These accessories are perfectly sized for little hands. The Moon Dough is fun to feel and squish, and once you are ready to create, the Push N’ Pop cutters are really fun and easy to handle. The 3 cutters include a waffle, pancake, and toast. The set also includes a plastic mold to add butter, jam, and whipped topping to the foods. The designs are nicely done and easy for little ones to use.
Unlike other products, I love that Moon Dough is easy to clean up and brushes right off clothes, tables, or other surfaces. It doesn’t leave any residue behind and never dries out. The improved Moon Dough also comes in an Ocean Pals set. The sets retail for around $10-$12. A great idea for an inexpensive gift for any child three and over!
