Movie of the Week: Chimpanzee

I almost bought this little guy at the Disney Store this morning…
Oh my, how cute is Oscar?! ;) #Chimpanzee at Disney Store today.

The last thing we need is another stuffed animal, but he’s just so darn CUTE! I have a feeling my girls are going to love this movie, so we may just go back and ‘adopt’ him eventually. Everyone’s loving Oscar!

The world is a playground for little Oscar and his fellow young chimpanzees, who’d rather make mayhem than join their parents for an afternoon nap. But when Oscar’s family is confronted by a rival band of chimpanzees, he is left to fend for himself until a surprising ally steps in and changes his life forever. Directed by Alastair Fothergill (“African Cats” and “Earth”) and Mark Linfield (“Earth”), and narrated by Tim Allen, Disneynature’s CHIMPANZEE swings into theaters Friday, April 20, 2012, just in time for Earth Day.

Interesting fact: The first three releases under the Disneynature label—“Earth,” “Oceans” and “African Cats”—are among the top four highest grossing feature-length nature films of all time.

For this film, Disneynature has joined forces with the Jane Goodall Institute (JGI) for a special “See ‘Chimpanzee,’ Save Chimpanzees” program.  For every moviegoer who sees CHIMPANZEE during the film’s opening week (April 20-26, 2012), Disneynature will make a donation to JGI through the Disney Worldwide Conservation Fund in order to protect chimpanzees and their habitats. SO GO SEE IT THIS WEEKEND! It’s rated G.

After watching the making of chimpanzee, I am amaze how they able to survive those difficult conditions they have to undergo. Those bees were all over their body. I will support this movie, this is the most humane thing to do. To take care of our environment. Those falls are lovely and its our responsibility to take care of that..
