“It’s a small world” is up there on the list, as it was one of the very first rides I got on my first time at the Magic Kingdom. When I was maybe 10 or 11 years old, my dad gave me a Mickey Mouse watch that played “”it’s a small world,” and I absolutely loved it. I can’t remember what happened to it, but it’s one of the few gifts my dad ever gave me, so I have fond memories of it. Anyway, I was thrilled when I rode the ride for the first time at 16, and have felt the same way many times since.
Also at Magic Kingdom, I love Space Mountain. I’m not a roller coaster person, but I could get on this one anytime. Big Thunder Mountain is memorable because it’s the first “real” roller coaster that Maya ever got on. She still talks about it all the time.
At Epcot, Soarin’ is probably my favorite… one that I could get on again and again! If you’ve never been on it, Soarin’ is sort of of like a hang-gliding simulation ride, except you are seated (strapped into a chair). You forget this once you’re lifted up into the air, though! The ride takes you over the state of California. Being on it is just such a great feeling. Kind of hard to explain. Test Track is also fun, as is Mission: Space, mostly because my sister completely freaked out on it. I could totally ride it again just for that!
At Animal Kingdom, we always make time for the Kilimanjaro Safari. It’s a different experience every time. I haven’t explored Hollywood Studios too much, but I did have a blast on Toy Story Mania. I think I rode it three times in a row, but that’s because we had the ride to ourselves. 😉
YOUR TURN: What’s your favorite Disney ride?
By the way, I asked my daughters what their favorite rides are. Maya (7): Test Track and the tea cups. Maura (4): Cinderella’s “merry-go-round” and the “big ball at Epcot.” LOL. I bet if I asked them again tomorrow, those answers would change!

Thank you again for setting up this Blog Hop, it has been so much fun. Love your favorites and the reasons behind them. Agree, I bet my boys would change things up a bit depending on the day that I ask them. I can’t wait to see what they have to say after this upcoming trip since my little guy will not have more rides that he is tall enough to go on.
