I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting (#MC) for MyYogaWorks. I received a product sample to facilitate my review & a promotional item as a thank you for participating.
I’ve always wanted to try yoga, but I’ve been too self-conscious to ever take a class. Peeking through a window at my local yoga studio, it seems like everyone knows exactly what they’re supposed to do in even the most basic class, moving from one position to the next with no hesitation at all! This is why I was excited to try MyYogaWorks, an online subscription service for on-demand yoga classes. The service gives you unlimited access to a library of hundreds of online yoga classes on your computer, mobile device, and TV, so it’s a good way to stay active at home, work, or when traveling. With classes for all skill levels, ranging from beginner to advanced, it’s a great resource for all levels of yoga enthusiasts, including those that have never experienced it before, but have always been interested in trying… like me!
I’ve taken a couple of weeks to experience some of the hundreds of different online classes available through MyYogaWorks and have enjoyed it. Being completely new to yoga, I started with the Yoga 101 “Journey Series”, which is a sequence of videos that walks you through learning something new. There’s also ‘Yoga for Runners’, ‘Postnatal Yoga’, a series on how to do a headstand, and many more journeys. At a studio, you can’t exactly get one-on-one attention and ask the instructor to repeat a move over and over (without feeling totally humiliated, anyway!), but you can pause a video and replay it as often as you need! This makes even the hardest positions seem attainable. New videos are added every week, with classes ranging in length from 5 to 90 minutes, so there’s always something fresh!
Yoga, known as a natural stress-reliever, helps quiet the mind and strengthen the body, with benefits going far beyond the yoga mat. MyYogaWorks is an easy way to experience the power of yoga in the comfort of your own home!
Want to try it? Use code: YOGA2014 for a free, one-month subscription to MyYogaWorks! It’s $15/month after that.

I like yoga and with all the snow days this year, I am not getting to the gym, so this would be ideal.
