OxiClean MaxForce {review}

I’ve been using the OxiClean Versatile Stain Remover powder for laundry and tackling other stains for as long as I can remember, but did you know that OxiClean has a line of MaxForce Stain Fighters that are designed specifically for laundry? Color-safe and chlorine-free, each of these products contains OxiClean’s “4-in-1 stain fighting power” so whether grease, oil, blood, or dirt, appears on clothing, you know that dabbing with OxiClean will leave the garment looking new again after just one wash.

This winter, OxiClean announced two new products to add to your stain-fighting arsenal: OxiClean Max Force Power Paks and the Max Force Gel Stick pretreater. I was sent a sample of both to try out.

OxiClean Max Force Power Paks
You can use the Power Paks to give any load of laundry – both whites and colors – a boost, without dealing with messy liquids or powders. According to the website, the paks “unleash active oxygen” that finds the stains and gives your detergent a boost so that your colors come out brighter and your whites are whiter. (Hey, that rhymes!) You can safely drop one in every load for deep cleaning that’s safe for all colors and temperatures! They remind me of those paks that I use for my dishwasher; they dissolve completely in the wash. You could also use these for pre-soaking your clothes if you’ve got a big mess on your hands. I didn’t try them in this manner, but all you have to do is add the pack to warm water to dissolve it, add your clothes, and soak for a few hours. I love the smell of this stuff – so fresh and clean!

OxiClean Max Force Gel Stick
The Gel Stick works best on tough stains – even ones that have been set-in on clothes for a week! It has a special applicator that helps get deep into clothing fibers where the thick gel formula sticks to stains and breaks them down. Just rub the gel into the fabric and let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes before throwing it into a normal load of laundry. The color-safe formula has 4 types of stain fighters that all target a different kind of stain, whether it be from food, grease, dirt, or protein stains like grass and blood. Now there’s no need to have a different stain remover product for every type of stain! My daughters always seem to get chocolate milk on their clothes. If I don’t get to them right away, many times they’re ruined. I was thrilled to see that this gel stick gets this particular type of stain out. Yay!

These products hit store shelves this month. Visit www.OxiClean.com to print coupons and try them out!

I wrote this review while participating in a blog campaign by Mom Central on behalf of OxiClean and received a sample to facilitate my candid review. Mom Central sent me a gift card to thank me for taking the time to participate.

    We also have our own version here in the Philippines, it’s the so called oxybleach that purely deters the spread of microorganism that accumulates on dirt clothes and as well as those hard to take away stain.

    I don’t know what chemicals they use to create the scent for this product but it smells terrible that’s what OxiClean’s trade mark to the users of it.
