We have lots of Play-Doh. Tons. I love it because, well… you get a lot of play for a little dough. Hehe!

Play-Doh tools in big jarThe cans of Play-Doh compound are fairly cheap, and the play sets are also reasonably priced. I’ve reviewed the Burger Builder and Ice Cream Shoppe in the past, but we also have many of the tools. I keep all the tools in a big jar that formerly held pretzels, and all our play sets are stored on a high shelf. Since many of them have small pieces, I try to keep them in their boxes and out of reach. The tools all fit in the jar nicely, the play mats sit rolled up in the middle, and most importantly, it’s all visible. My daughters don’t have any trouble finding what they need. I’m always on the lookout for neat cookie cutters and plastic utensils that I can throw in the Play-Doh jar.

It’s no secret kids love making pretend food with Play-Doh. In fact, we have the most fun with the food sets! One of Play-Doh’s newest is the Poppin’ Movie Snacks playset. Kids can get their fill of movie theater fun with this playset, by making realistic-looking popcorn, colorful “candy,” a “hot dog,” “french fries,” or “ice cream” treats with a variety of molds. The set includes a movie theater themed playmat, and five cans of Play-Doh compound.   7. We go through Play-Doh like crazy in my house. We try to keep it seperate, but eventually it all ends up that yucky gray-brown color. My daughter would love this. Thanks for the chance!
