Project 365 FAIL

February 26, 2010 by Mariana

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed or Email Updates. Thanks for visiting!

I went up to day 50. And then I knew I was done.
I was starting to feel forced to pick up my camera, and that’s no fun! I’m not the only one… do a Google search for “Project 365 FAIL” and you’ll find about 824,000 results. It’s harder than it seems.

My mistakes –

  • Doing too many things with the photos – putting them on here, Flickr, and 365project.org. I should’ve just picked one place and stuck with it.
  • Starting in the middle of winter. B-o-r-i-n-g. Maybe I’ll try again in a few months when I have a little more going on. By the time winter comes around again, taking a photo a day will be easy-peasy.

Below are photos from the past couple of weeks. You know when I take photos of my TV two days in a row I’m either seriously lacking inspiration… or I watch too much television!

As Heidi says, you’re either in or you’re out. When it comes to this project, I’m definitely out.
Auf Wiedersehen!

You can go back and look at weeks one, two, three, four, and five if you’d like…

Hi. I rediscovered your site because I read that you helped out New York Chica with a WP problem, which is ironic because I was following along your 365 Project last week and wanted to check on your progress and completely forgot to bookmark your site (and couldn’t find it again).

lol – you’re the reason I ran out and bought Brown Sugar and Cinnamon Ritzs…and now I’ve placed your link in the review post I wrote.

Sorry to hear 365Project didn’t work out. For me, taking the pictures would have been really fun, but transferring them to my computer would have really gotten on my nerves, especially if I was running low on time.

    Well, have a great day!

I’m loving all your pictures @DisneySMMoms. I hear ya. When inspiration leaves, you just have to go with it or be frustrated to no end. I’m really happy that I met you at Disney. You are so sweet! I hope to hang out with you more at Blogher! *Wishing for a good camera about now* LOL
