I never thought I’d use the words ‘elegant’ and ‘stylish’ to describe an activity monitor, but that’s exactly what I consider the Shine, by Misfit, to be. It’s a unique tracker that is fun to wear and looks great, whether I have it on my wrist or my shirt collar. Best Buy & Shine gave me one of these gorgeous trackers, and I’ve been using it for a few weeks now!

Shine helps you monitor your overall health with these features:
• Activity tracking – it tracks a number of activities, including swimming, biking, tennis, soccer, etc.
• A step tracker, which measures steps and distance traveled.
• Records how well you sleep.
• Estimates calories burned.
• Clock – just double tap the screen to see the time!
• Waterproof, up to 50 meters, or 164 feet, so you can swim with the monitor on.
I love that no charging is required, since Shine runs on a coin cell battery which lasts about 4 months. I just put it on and don’t think about it anymore! And with a weight of 9.4g, it’s so light I forget I’m wearing it! It includes a magnet clip that you can attach to your clothes, hip, or shoes.
Also available for purchase are leather bands, a sport band, and a necklace, all of which allow you to wear Shine to different locations and for various occasions (formal, business, casual, sleeping, swimming). Made of aircraft-grade aluminum material, it looks like it’ll be quite durable, but what I really love is that it literally looks like you’re wearing a piece of jewelry!
