Time for some blog ‘Spring Cleaning’

March 1, 2010 by Mariana

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed or Email Updates. Thanks for visiting!

Back in October, I decided to take on ProBlogger’s 31 Days to Build a Better Blog Challenge. I went out of town, my site was hacked… and that project never got off the ground. The snow is melting, which means winter’s finally on its way out. It’s time to clean up and recharge!

I’ll be starting up the challenge tomorrow morning, following the lessons found in the 31 Days to a Build a Better Blog workbook. Who wants to join me?

To participate, you can buy the workbook*, go back and read all of the 31DBBB posts from April of last year, or just follow along here with me everyday!

Peg from PegsPlay was on board back then, so I’ll be checking up on her to see if she wants to revisit the challenge. Those going to a conference soon (ahem… BlogHer) may want to think about trying this as well. Or maybe you don’t have a blog, and want to set one up but don’t know where to start? I could help you with that, too. Just let me know!

So… tomorrow morning I’ll be tackling day one of the 31DBBB challenge! How to write an elevator pitch for your blog. I won’t be following the challenge to a T, as I’ll be adding in my own homework “assignments” here and there, mostly related to back end stuff. Stay tuned…

Update: Day 1 is up!

*I’m a 31DBBB affiliate.

I did this when it ProBlogger first ran the challenge and I will say it really was a great learning experience for me. Plus it helped me build my blog up a lot.

It will be interesting to go through some of the topics again for a refresher. Thanks!
