The Make-a-Wish Foundation is the largest wish-granting organization in the world. They’ve granted wishes to more than 174,000 children with life-threatening medical conditions nationwide. Isn’t that amazing? Through the Adopt-a-Wish program, a donor can actually cover the entire cost of a child’s wish.
There’s a little boy named Jacob, age 4, that has a rare and life-threatening disease that has affected him since birth. He has one big wish in life, like so many kids – to go to Disneyland with his family. To raise awareness of the Adopt-a-Wish program and to help get the social media community involved in granting Jacob’s wish, LeapFish is sponsoring the tweet-a-cause and Make-a-Wish campaign.
If you have your own Twitter account, please tweet the following message:
Just tweeted 2 grant a childs wish! #LeapFish donates to #makeawish foundation for each tweet. https://bit.ly/3Tj8A Please retweet!
LeapFish will match each tweet with a 5 cent donation, up to a target of $10,000 which will be enough to grant Jacob’s wish and send his family to Disneyland. You can visit https://bit.ly/3Tj8A to see the campaign’s progress and read a little more about Jacob. The campaign will run from November 16 through November 27, 2009.
So take a moment to tweet that message and make a difference in the life of a cute little boy!
