A unique way to show off your photos

August 4, 2009 by Mariana

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed or Email Updates. Thanks for visiting!

My little girl turns 5 next month, and I’m all out of ideas of what to get her for her birthday. She has all the toys she wants, more dresses in her closet than I do, so I’m stumped. Lately she’s really shown interest in decorating her bedroom, so when Uprinting offered me a poster print to review, I thought this might just be the unique and unexpected gift I’ve been looking for.

Uprinting offers Print Posters in high-gloss or semi-gloss in a variety of different sizes – from 8.5×11″ to 40×27″, or up to 58×100″ for a custom-sized poster. What I love is that there is no minimum order, so you can buy just one – or 500 – of ’em. Turnaround is fast (only 1 business day) and shipping is free (though there is a processing fee).

This is the photo I’ve chosen. A fun memory from our visit to Chicago last month.

So we all have plenty of photos lying around, right? This is a perfect way to enlarge that special photo you’ve been wanting to display. The photo can be of anything you want, as long it will make you happy to see it enlarged!

As a thank you for checking out their Custom Poster Printing service, Uprinting is offering a High-gloss or Semi-gloss 18×24″ Digitally Printed Poster to one of my readers! It’s a value of approximately $20*. To enter please leave a comment on this post telling me what photo you’d like to have made into a poster if you win. This giveaway will move fast, though – ending this Friday, August 7th, at noon.

For extra entries:

  • Blog about this giveaway, linking back to this post.
  • Subscribe to my feed (or let me know if you already do).
  • Follow me on Twitter (@OhMariana) and tweet about this giveaway: Making one of your photos into a poster print couldn’t be easier! Win one from @Uprinting and @ohMariana! https://bit.ly/136o2q

*Disclaimers:
Giveaway is open to US/CAN residents. Ground shipping of prizes is free, but there is a $5 handling fee that must be paid by winner. UPrinting reserves the right not to print obscene or offensive materials.

All designs submitted in the form of a giveaway may be used by UPrinting for online marketing and promotional uses. The designs will be used solely as examples and will not be printed or commercially distributed.

A big thank you to UPrinting, one of my blog’s sponsors, for this fun giveaway opportunity.

I am pretty sure I would enlarge a photo of my dad that we took when he was fishing-he passed away this past February and this would be a great way to remember him doing what he loved best 🙂
