No loss this week. No gain, either, so I guess that’s a good thing. I went three days without exercising and one day without jotting down my food. It’s so easy to let things slide when I’m busy! Learning to put myself first is probably the hardest lesson of all.
What’s new this week? I’ve started reading 100 Days of Weight Loss by Linda Spangle. It’s one of those daily motivation books, but this one focuses on encouraging weight loss by providing daily mini-lessons to keep readers focused and committed to whatever plan they choose to follow.
The book is a few years old, so I’m not sure if it’s even available new anymore; I downloaded it to my iPad and take it to bed along with my journal. It’s such an easy read that I find myself moving ahead to day 10, 20, when I know I should take time to focus on the current one.
