My morning routine is always a little hectic. I’m lucky if I even have time to brush my hair and apply a dab of lip gloss before walking my daughter to the bus stop (which is right in front of my house, I might add). This Wisk experiment allowed me to give myself a little bit of ‘me-time’… and featured a sexy oil stain. One that you wouldn’t want to see on your husband’s shirt collar. Ever. 😉
Oil stains come in all shapes and sizes, though – peanut butter, salad dressing – and are some of the toughest stains to get out. To complete this experiment, I received a fabulous package from Wisk that included a hand towel, compact mirror, toiletry bag, lip gloss and a new bottle of Wisk Stain Spectrum laundry detergent.
The Experiment
- I used the compact mirror to delicately apply the beautiful lip gloss.
- I put on a little too much, so I puckered up and blotted the excess with the towel.
- I pre-treated the stain with Wisk, covering the entire kiss mark.
- I scrubbed the stain for about 30 seconds, creating lovely bubbles.
- I rinsed the stain under warm water until all the suds washed away.
The Result
Ta-dah! Kiss mark gone.
