It looks like the Dog is wearing Doggles, they are a brand of sunglasses made for Dogs, but the Austrailian shephards are also using them on their sheep. They protect dogs from conjuctivitis from wind blowing in their eyes, which over a prolonged time can lead to blindness. For the sheep down under, well seems quite a few of them were going blind and dying from falling in ruts or not locating their water. Seems the UV rays are stronger there and was leading to blindness. So some sheep farms there put Doggles on all there sheep. Really it is a brand because I looked into it. We don’t let our dogs hang their heads out of the window when we are driving, but my in-laws always did. Guess what their dog is practically 100% blind now too. Told them about the Doggles, but what you gonna do!
Cute picture. Doggles have a strap around the back, so if these were staying on, bet they were them.
