The BlogHer ’09 festivities officially start at 4pm today. I’m beyond excited to meet some of my favorite bloggers & PR reps, and learn as much as I can about blogging. (Only been at it for a year, so I’m still a newbie, right? ;))
I’d like to thank the following companies that have contributed to making this trip a little easier for us:
Safety 1st provided us with their new Complete Air with Air Protect car seats so my daughters can be safe on the road and in the air. It’ll be in stores on August 3rd, and I’ll have a thorough review next week.
Casio was kind enough to lend me an Exilim Z-150 digital camera and a Baby G watch to use throughout the weekend. Both are gorgeous. I feel like a celebrity borrowing jewels for the Oscars! I’ll let you know what I think of them.
Just yesterday I found out I won a $100 sponsorship from Cozi, a fantastic online family planner. Read my review of Cozi from earlier this year.
I can’t possibly wear my contacts all day, and Glasses USA was kind enough to send a pair of stylish eyeglasses for review. I love the way they elongate my round face.
A couple of days ago I went on a little shopping spree with a $25 gift card from Marshalls. Ended up with a cute shirt for myself, and a dress and ballet flats for my 4-year old. And jelly beans. I always have to buy a bag of Jelly Bellies at the checkout.
I would have no business cards if it weren’t for Uprinting! I must say they’re beautiful. And that’s not just because I designed them myself.
I filled my daughter’s backpack with CLIF Kid Organic Twisted Fruit and Organic ZBaRs. Having plenty of healthy snacks on hand for my girls is… priceless.
The rolling backpack I was given at the PBS Kids event earlier this year is a godsend. My shoulders thank you, PBS! |

All of those things sound great! I hope you had a wonderful time in Chicago! I was sad I couldn’t be there, but the MC girls had only wonderful things to say about everything they did and everyone they met. I’m already looking forward to next year! 🙂
