This is why I knew she’d LOVE the new PLAYMOBIL PopStars! Stage, a play set which allows her to role play and act out her fantasy – singing in a band! We’ve been fans of PLAYMOBIL for years, from the advent calendar that we pull out every year, to the pretty princess that sits on Maya’s nightstand.
Recommended for kids 4-10 years old, this play set ROCKS! Literally. You can hook up an MP3 player to it (with the enclosed cable) and choose your favorite tunes. The lights even flash to the beat of the music! Considering the girls usually listen to music through headphones, they think this feature is AWESOME!
Now, the girls’ ONLY complaint about this play set is that a girl figure isn’t included. It does come with four male figures, a drum set, two guitars with guitar stands and straps, microphones, built-in speakers, and a few other accessories, as well as the stage with flashing lights, of course. If you don’t have an MP3 player, no worries! The stage is preloaded with two songs that you can access at the press of a button.
Like most PLAYMOBIL sets, it has to be set up with the help of an adult, including inserting the batteries. Maya and I had it ready in just a few minutes, and her little sis helped with the stickers. I found attaching the microphones to the stands the hardest part! 😉
