Welcome! This is my second year participating in the Ultimate Blog Party 2010, hosted by the fabulous Janice and Susan of 5 Minutes for Mom. {Grab an ice cream cone cupcake and make yourself comfortable!}

I’ll make this short and sweet. I know you have a ton of blogs to visit. And I mean it. A ton.

and voila! Ice cream cone cupcakesI’m Mariana, a twenty-something* mom to two beautiful little girls. You’ll see photos of them in almost every one of my posts. I’ve been married almost 10 years to a wonderful man who works hard so that I can stay at home with our daughters. We live in the suburbs of our nation’s capital, but I grew up in Texas and Mexico, and my native language is actually Spanish. Little known fact.

As I say in my About page… if I could compare my life – motherhood, marriage, and everything it entails – to anything, it would be to riding a bike with no hands. Teetering along, having little control over what happens… and I’m loving it! Blogging has become my ultimate diversion. I love to share my thoughts and opinions on great products and family anecdotes. I take lots of photos, too. Some recent posts you may want to read…

  31. It’s so true. Motherhood is like riding a bike with no hands, that is an awesome comparison.
    That ice cream cone cupcake looks so delicious, and what a fun idea. Love that you just reviewed the ipad, I’ve been wondering and wanting to know more about it because I’m a huge Apple fan!
